Prestige Solutions Completes Major AV Upgrade at Capella Singapore

Prestige Solutions Pte Ltd has successfully completed a major audiovisual upgrade project at Capella Singapore on Sentosa Island. The project brings together a large-format        Absen indoor LED wall, professional PixelHue video control, NovaStar LED processing and a premium        K-Array sound system from Italy.

Designed to support conferences, gala dinners, corporate presentations, product launches,        live performances and other high-profile events, the upgraded system provides the venue with        a more flexible and reliable platform for presenting visual content and delivering professional        sound reinforcement.

From system design and equipment integration to installation, configuration, testing and        commissioning, Prestige Solutions delivered the different AV components as one coordinated        solution. The completed system enables the hotel’s AV team to manage multiple content sources,        large-format presentations and event audio through a professional workflow.

A Large-Format Visual Experience

The visual centrepiece of the project is an impressiveAbsen NX1.8 indoor LED wall measuring 18.24 metres wide by 4.32 metres high.        With a total display area of approximately 78.8 square metres, the screen creates a strong        visual focal point for the venue.

The 1.875 mm fine pixel pitch provides a calculated native resolution of approximately        9,728 × 2,304 pixels, representing more than 22 million pixels across the complete display.        This allows detailed presentations, videos, event graphics and live camera content to be        shown clearly on a very large canvas.

With brightness of up to 800 nits, the LED wall is designed to maintain clear and vivid        images in an indoor event environment. The modular small-cabinet construction supports        accurate alignment and also makes individual sections more accessible for future servicing        and maintenance.

Large-format LED display and professional video processing system

PixelHue P80 Video Control

At the heart of the video control system is the PixelHue P80 event controller.        Supplied with a dedicated flight case, the P80 provides a professional platform for managing        multiple video sources and controlling how content appears across the large-format LED wall.

During an event, operators may need to move quickly between presentations, promotional videos,        event graphics, live camera feeds and other content. The P80 supports this workflow by bringing        signal selection, switching, scaling and screen layout management into one central control system.

This flexibility allows the venue’s AV team to prepare different screen arrangements for        corporate meetings, gala dinners and live events while maintaining smooth transitions between        different sources. The flight case also provides additional protection for storage and        transportation when the controller is required for different event setups.

NovaStar H5 LED Processing

The PixelHue P80 works together with two NovaStar H5 splicing LED video processors.        While the P80 manages the event sources and screen layouts, the NovaStar H5 processors handle        the processing and distribution of the final video signals to the Absen LED wall.

The system includes HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 input cards for receiving professional video        signals, together with 20-port RJ45 sending cards for distributing the processed content to        the LED display system. This coordinated signal chain supports stable content delivery across        the complete 18.24-metre-wide screen.

Premium K-Array Sound Reinforcement

To complement the large-format visual experience, Prestige Solutions installed aK-Array Pinnacle KR802 II powered stereo system from Italy. The system is        designed to provide the power, clarity and coverage required for a premium hospitality        and event environment.

The audio package includes the K-Array Thunder KS4 I, an ultra-light,        self-powered dual 18-inch subwoofer featuring integrated DSP and power amplification.        Its active design reduces the need for separate external amplification while allowing        the system’s low-frequency performance to be managed through built-in digital processing.

The resulting system is capable of delivering clear speech for conferences and corporate        presentations while also providing the low-frequency impact required for music, gala dinners        and live entertainment. This combination helps the venue accommodate different event formats        without compromising sound quality.
