Smart room control system
One controller behind every switch in the guest room: lighting scenes, air-conditioning, curtains and the Do Not Disturb / Make Up Room status — linked to the PMS and to housekeeping, installed and supported by our engineers in Singapore.
What it controls
Guests use one set of switches and a bedside panel. Behind them, the RCU runs the room to the hotel's rules.
Lighting scenes
One-touch scenes such as Welcome, Reading, Video and Sleep, with dimming and night-light logic for the bedside and bathroom.
Climate
Works with the hotel's HVAC: set-points and fan speed per scene, and an energy-saving setback when the room is empty.
Do Not Disturb / Make Up Room
Digital DND and MUR replace door hangers, and the status reaches housekeeping in real time.
Connected
Links to the hotel PMS, Bittel room phones, LG and Samsung hospitality TVs, room panels and our Opio3 platform.
Built to be installed fast and kept running
- Modular. Each function is its own DIN-rail module with its own chip, so one faulty module does not take the room down — swap it and it picks up its configuration automatically.
- One RS485 bus. Switch panels share one bus with anti-collision, so two guests pressing switches at once still get a response in milliseconds. Bus, ring and star wiring all work.
- Configured, not rewired. Scenes, timers and triggers (keycard, door contact, IR sensor, time of day) are set in the RCUTOOL software.
- Remote upkeep. Firmware can be updated room by room or in batches, remotely or on site, and every module reports its working status.

All modules: 12 V DC, DIN rail, storage −10 to 40 °C (master and 0–10 V dimming to 55 °C), 20–70 % relative humidity.
